Like most events in 2020, our National event sadly had to be
cancelled, but fear not, we have 2021’s National ready and it is
just around the corner! This year’s gathering will be held in
Brecon, commencing on the evening of Friday 10th - Sunday 12th
September. Our central meeting point/accommodation will be at the
Lakeside caravan park, Llangorse, Brecon LD3 7TR.
Bookings can be made directly on their website at

caravans available or you can pitch up a tent if preferred.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO MENTION THE X1/9 OWNERS CLUB WHEN BOOKING.

As is tradition, we will meet up and get settled in at the site on
the Friday evening.  There is a bar, cafe and shop within the grounds,
all set in a beautiful and scenic location which will do the club
proud. I'm sure most of us will spend the evening in/outside the bar
catching up with old friends and meeting new faces.

On the Saturday morning at 10am we will meet to start the drive
towards the best driving roads in Wales.  There will be plenty of
stops along the way with many opportunities for photos.  We will end
the drive in Brecon town centre where members can explore this
historic market town and head back to the campsite at their leisure.

Everyone is then welcome on the Saturday evening for our traditional
National evening meal which, this year, will be accompanied by a quiz.

On the Sunday we will drive to the beautiful Elan Valley, here we will
see some of the most spectacular scenery of the event and drive over
one of Wales’ most impressive dams.  We will then culminate the
weekend at the Penbont House Tearooms, where we are booked in for food
at 2pm.

We look forward to seeing you again and hope you can join us!

Now that the weather is dark, wet and cold and our cars are tucked up for the winter, we need something to look forward to in 2017.  We might have just the tonic for you - Sharon and Ray have been busy planning next year's National Event in Bridlington, East Yorkshire on the 8th to 10th September. We're holding it in conjunction with the Bridlington Weekend of Motoring, so there's sure to be loads going on.

Download the attached pdfs for further details (paid up members only).

The annual Christmas lunch at the Isle of Skye hotel in Perth was once again a great success. We had 7 people attending and one X1/9.  It was great to catch up with other Scottish club members in the flesh, discuss the coming year and possible events and shows we want to take part in.

The X1/9 Owners Club has been invited to attend the 2015 "Italian 100" event, being organised by Classic Fiat Ireland.  The event will take place on the weekend 28th to 30th August 2015, in the beautiful sea side village of Strandhill in Sligo.

Well, this year's National Event has now taken place and it was certainly one to remember.  With a turnout of 35 cars, including five from the Netherlands, we had one of the best attended events in years.  The Dalesbridge Centre looked after us superbly and, for the most part, the weather smiled on us (although the first night was a bit wet and wild).
