it might sound like a daft idea, but when i changed my dash bulbs this happened to one of mine , I removed the bulb from its holder and simply turned it round and re inserted it , It worked ,not saying it will work for you ,but its usually the daft things that do.

Thanks but I have no power to lamp holder
Have given up on power source to lamp, will come back to it when i have more time,
As a temporary fix have connected a wire from bulb holder to dash dimmer switch, this has worked and inserted LED bulb
