Front suspension bushes 10 months 4 days ago #41828

Hello,
My x1/9 passed its mot yesterday ( as it should having only done 28miles thIs year!). One advisory was a small oil leak from the sump plug and the other front track control bushes worn ( visible in the video they took under the car). Eurosport list two types that are the ones needed I think - black rubber and these www.eurosport-uk.net/shop/index.php?main...sgrcl7vqm2hl8omq6og3

Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on the merits of these or even how bad a job it is?

the job is quite straightforward IMHO but I used the standard bushes so no idea how effective the poly ones are....

Hi Richard. Greetings from across the pond. NO....those perished bushes shown in your pics are NOT the track control arm bushes you linked to !!

Those bushes in your pics are the front radius arm bushes. Like these ones:
www.eurosport-uk.net/shop/index.php?main...sgrcl7vqm2hl8omq6og3

Those are what you need. There are actually 2 per side ( total of 4 on the car ). As there is another one on each side that is hidden from view under the lip of the bracket.

They are easy to change.

Now I suppose your actual TCA bushes ( the one you linked to ) might also be past their best by now as well....but it appears that was not the advisory given.......

Cheers, Doug
