Hi the Brooklands Book Compilation by RM Clarke on the Fiat X1/9 Isbn no. 0907073 018 says Things like the Fiat x1/9's 'Hot revvy engine' 'unburstable Lampredi Engine' and 'keep It on the boil'. but i would say try and Nick the Fiat's Performance with the Low revs, use the Gears and brakes. This Fiat is Light and Stripped out and i am not sure how Strong is the Fiat x1/9's Clutch.Thank you

i have just bought a 2 tone red & black 1984 vs, with black leather interior, through the club (a bit rough, but a good one)
