I'm back

Hi Folks, 

I was last a member around 1989/90'ish when I had a VS, silver over charcoal with red leather interior, reg. A214 HRY. 

I then saw my old car on E-bay a number of years back when it had been repainted all over in silver & was sporting black leather interior. 

I also got talked into purchasing 2 others being sold as spares or repairs, reg. YLN 735S & RFV 840X. 

RFV 840X I sold to the X1/9 Man
YLN 735S I sold to a lady at work for her husband to restore after he sold his Lotus Cortina.  

Be nice to know if any of my afore mentioned cars belong to any members. 

Roy Coates was the membership secretary at the time, & I've attached pictures of a leaflet I still have. 

A few weeks ago I purchased a modified Gran Finale, E419 BGT, hence rejoining the club & glad to see it's still going after all these years.

I guess it just proves that once you've had an X1/9 (or two) you can't get them out of your system. Easiest just to give and get one!

The S reg car you had must have been 1300? I don't recognise the reg number. They may still be around. Have you checked the DVLA website?
